Asparagus is one of our favorite foods and this recipe is very quick and easy! We prefer larger asparagus but, since it is not always readily available, any size will work just fine.We boost the nutritional benefits and kick up the flavor by steam sautéing the asparagus in ghee and bone broth. For this recipe, we recommend that you use either our Organic Grass Fed & Grass Finished Beef Bone Broth or our Organic Chicken Bone Broth, or a combination of the two. The bone broth will gently steam the asparagus until it is tender while slightly reducing and providing a nice coating to the asparagus. We'll then finish the dish off with nutritional yeast flakes, and/or Parmesan cheese, leaving us with a healthy and delicious upgrade to the typical standard method of preparing asparagus.

|1 lb medium to large asparagus, trimmed (white bottoms removed)||1 tbsp ghee|
|2 cloves garlic, minced||½ to 1 cup TFC Beef Bone Broth or TFC Chicken Bone Broth or combo|
|1 tbsp butter||granulated onion, to taste|
|granulated garlic, to taste||nutritional yeast flakes, to taste|
|½ cup Parmesan cheese (optional)||sea salt, to taste|
Place ghee in an 8 to 10 inch sauté pan that has a lid over medium heat. Add the trimmed and washed asparagus, and then add the minced garlic. Allow the asparagus to lightly sauté and the garlic to soften. Now, add the bone broth and cover quickly. When the asparagus is tender, remove from the pan and transfer to a small bowl. Add the butter to melt. Finally, season with dry spices and sprinkle with nutritional yeast flakes and/or Parmesan cheese.
