The Sidecar Bone Broth Cocktail Recipe!

Happy Independence Day, friends! In preparation for tomorrow, we thought we'd share a fun and tasty cocktail recipe with some added health benefits. The Sidecar is a 1920s cocktail rumored to be created by an American soldier in Paris, making it the perfect patriotic drink for the 4th! It's easy to make and has a delicious, light flavor with a touch of natural sweetness. The addition of bone broth and bitters really completes the drink with added health components, but without compromising the fabulous taste. You can find this and other great recipes in The Bone Broth Secret by Lousie Hay and Heather Dane.

The Sidecar Bone Broth Cocktail Recipe

¼ cup (2 oz) TFC Organic Bone Broth ⅓ cup (approx 2½ oz) Cointreau
⅓ cup lemon juice ⅔ cup (approx 5¼ oz) cognac
10-12 drops Urban Moonshine Citrus Bitters

Take your broth out of the refrigerator and allow to sit on the counter top to become more liquid. If it's really gelled, heat on the lowest temperature in a saucepan, then cool to room temperature.

Put all ingredients in a large glass, and then pour into a cocktail shaker full of cracked ice. Shake well, then strain into 2 chilled cocktail glasses. These are extra fun poured into martini glasses.

Bon appétit!
